MUDr. Vojtěch Rybka, Ph.D.
Rehabilitation physician

MUDr. Vojtěch Rybka, Ph.D.

Rehabilitation physician and lecturer at the 2nd Faculty of Medicine, specialising in orthopaedic and neurological rehabilitation and movement prevention in Prague.

More about the doctor

MUDr. Vojtěch Rybka, Ph.D. is a respected rehabilitation physician at Regen Clinic Prague who combines the latest knowledge from rehabilitation, orthopaedics and neurology in his practice. He also works at the Motol University Hospital and specialises in comprehensive treatment of the musculoskeletal system and neurorehabilitation.

His medical approach is built on a deep connection of three key pillars of modern medicine:

  • Therapeutic rehabilitation – already during his medical studies he was drawn to the anatomy and biomechanics of human movement. He believes that successful rehabilitation is a shared journey of doctor and patient, based on active cooperation rather than passive procedures.
  • Neurorehabilitation – in clinical practice he works intensively with, among others, neurological patients. During his doctoral studies at the 2nd Faculty of Medicine of Charles University he researched spinal cord lesions and the use of electrical spinal cord stimulation.
  • Orthopaedic rehabilitation and movement prevention – as an active athlete he focuses clinically and in teaching on orthopaedic patients. He addresses the diagnosis and therapy of acute injuries and post-injury conditions and sets up professional protocols for a return to sport. He sees rehabilitation as a key tool for preventing the premature end of physical activity.
